In its restaurant at les Diablerets, Gstaad, the famous designer Ron Arad creates a thrilling panoramic restaurant. Almost immediately I thought it would be a perfect shape for a wind turbine, maybe a twin rotor one.
You may thing it's crazy, but at least it stays high enough to reach clean winds. To create a good mast design for this particular layout is quite a challenge, but regarding at its slightly old fashioned machine look, maybe an art-deco-Cord-car-like spirit could work fine with it.
Time will tell, but you cannot deny it has the perfect shape of a Piper plane engine, just missing a shiny chromed spinner and a three bladed propeller.
